"Pops Conductor colleagues and Artistic Directors — BOOK. THIS. BAND. You, your orchestra, and your audiences will not regret working with four of the most genuine, humble, and talented people in the industry. Amazing what a violin, mandolin, guitar, and contrabass can do with some stellar vocals to boot." — Joseph R. Olefirowicz, Conductor · Symphony NH · German Film Orchestra Babelsberg · Staatsoper Berlin · Leipzig Opera

Act of Congress is Birmingham's acoustic quartet — guitar, mandolin, fiddle, upright bass, and four-part harmony. Pop melodies on bluegrass instruments. The range of a ten-piece in the footprint of four chairs.

Together for twenty years, the band has performed across five continents as U.S. State Department Cultural Ambassadors — Thailand, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Philippines, Bali, Liberia, and Jordan among them. Highlights include performing for Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and a headline appearance at Jordan's celebrated Jerash Festival.

At home, Act of Congress has performed five times with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and is consistently named one of Alabama's must-see live acts. Original music for the concert hall, full orchestral charts available for pops programs.
